i want to change my semi noisy Volcano 6CU to something else. My comp runs fine and has never given me heat problems. I was wondering if a high quality heatsink but low CFM fan would balance out to give me a stable computer.

I was thinking the Thermaltake AX-7 combined with either the Panaflo low fan....or should i jsut get a YS tech adjustable fan? While id prefer the panaflow for its low noise, the YS Tech is nice becuase i can set it the way i want and i cant mess up my proccessor unless i do an extreme change in fan speed. Also, i will be using ASIII.

id get an ajudtable fan because that way you dont run it too low and fry your computer. you can get teh best balence between noise and cooling this way

I'm assuming you mean thermalRIGHT ax-7?
Thermalright products are sweet, and I would go with the adjustable fan also.
Checkout Heatsinkfactory.com, I've gotten excellent service and they have competitive prices, too.
Resellerratings has good stuff to say about them, too.
