Can I do a clean install of Win2k Pro using the upgrade CD?

I am thinking about buying a win2k upgrade pack and want to know if it's possible to do a clean install with it without 98 installed? I have my OEM win98 cd.
 
Yes, it will work. When you install a Windows upgrade it asks for a previous versions disk as a compliance check.
