Can I do 1.5G memory?

I am currently using MSI NEO NF4 MB with 1G of corsair value select memory running dual channel. I had a friend selling me a stick of 512MB of the excat same memory and I am just wondering if I could add this 512MB and still keep my PC running at max speed DDR400. According to the msi website, they did not show a configuration with 3 stick of memory running at the same time.

The main concern that I have is can I still run at DDR400 with 3 sticks of 512MB?

You should still be able to run at DDR400 with three sticks, but I believe dual channel mode will disable itself. As far as I know, dual channel only works with 2 or 4 stick configurations.
