I have an Earthmate GPS unit from DeLorme which hooks up to my laptop. I currently use Street Atlas 9 software with it.
The current software will tell me all kinds of stuff when I use it in my car. It will tell me:
1)Direction
2)Altitude
3)MPH
4)Longitude and Latitude(am I spelling these right?)

When I am still, the MPH are at 0.0, and when I am driving, it tell's MPH up to 3 decimal places accuracy(I don't know how accurate it is). I know the GPS usually gets a 3-D fix on about 6 or so satallites. Is there any software that does 0-60 or 1/4 mile with a GPS hooked up to a laptop?

I've done the dragstrip thing already... it's not always convienent. It's also like 2 hours a way, and cost 20 bucks or something to run in. I was looking more for a 0-60 than quarter mile anyways...
