Can I disable call waiting on a Verizon cell phone?

(And by the way, I can't find anything on Google about disabling it, so it may not be possible unless you read the manual for your specific phone)

if you login into your account on verizonwireless.com you can change a lot of options for your phone. Not sure if you can do that but its worth a shot

Then call them and have them disable call waiting. Who are you on the phone with that's so important that you can't click over? Or who keeps calling that you want to avoid?
