Can I delete my own thread?

Is it possible to delete my own thread? I have several threads that are no longer applicable but can't figure out how to delete them... Is it possible to kill my own thread on this forum?

And to answer CoolRunnings' next question:
Because if we were allowed to delete threads trolls would use it to their benefit. Start a thread get some interest/buyers then delete the thread omitting all trace of it.
