Can I defeat macrovision with different cables?

I would like to run my DVD player through my VCR, but Macrovision won't let me. Anyway I could clean the signal using cables that let you do that?

As is right now I am forced to use an RF Modulator.
 
There's no cable that will do that, however there are "video stabilizer" boxes that can defeat macrovision. However, they are not particularly inexpensive.

Depending on the DVD player software you are using, there are hacks out there on the web that will turn off macrovision, so that might be your best option.
