Say I want to download a picture or a ringtone onto my phone. I have a .midi file on my computer that I know is compatible with my phone, so I make a simple website with a link to it and publish the site. I can visit the site on my PCS phone just fine and see the link, but when I select the link, the MIDI starts to play -- as in I can hear it coming from the speaker -- but it won't let me DOWNLOAD it and save as a ringtone.
There are sites that do just this (3gdownload.com, pcspix.com) but I can't figure out how they're doing it. There's obviously no "view source" button on my PCS browser, and I can't figure it out.
