Can I create a DVDR from a Smartripper Rip?

I ripped what I think is a single layer movie some time ago to HD using Smartripper 2.41. Is there a way I can write this to a DVDR? I have DVD Decrypter (latest version), Nero Ultra and a few other (freeware) tools. Thanks.

1) Use DVD Shrink to open the VOB files and backup to an ISO file
2) Burn ISO to DVDR using Decrypter
3) Profit!

Thanks, I'll give that a try!

When I run DVDShrink's Analyze feature against where I did the Smartripper backup it says 100%, no compression necessary but when I go to do the "Backup" it starts creating VOB files. How do I get it to create an ISO?

Edit: I think it's working now. It's backing up directly to my DVD writer, no ISO involved, or I THINK it is... Hmm. It's encoding to temporary files and will then write to the burner, or so it seems.

What version of Shrink are you running?

In v3.2, you should be prompted for the backup target when you click Backup. You should change it to ISO image, and then specify the location and filename of the ISO file.

You're not seeing this?

Yeah, 3.2. It created VOB files in the temporary file location folder. Now it's writing to a DVD+RW. Don't know what kind of file(s) it's writing to the disk, though.

Edit: See edits on my last post...

DVD Shrink 3.2 did an analysis, a backup to DVDRW, first writing temporary files to a different folder, which it said I could delete at will. There was no ISO involved. The DVDRW plays fine in my Philips DVP642 player. I'm copying the DVDRW to DVDR - it's one of my favorite movies. Thanks!
