I have Toddlers jumpstart game for my 2 year old that consist of 3 CD's. Is there anyway I could have them load to the HD instead of constantly switching CD's?

Could I use Nero to copy them to a partitioned section and then when my son clicks on the quickstart icon of his choice it'll just load instead of asking for the proper CD? (Yes, he know's what he's doing except for putting the CD in upsidedown every so often)

If this is possible, where would I change the path of the program from D:\ to the partition G:\ where the game is held?

Thanx

Most of the programs require that a small interface be loaded/installed.

I have copied the entire CD to a folder and then installed from that folder. Never had a problem.
However, I do not know about S/W that is looking for the CD.

It will take you 5-10 mintues to test out each type of program.

You can get a program that will mount the cd's on the hard disk so that it will look like they are in a CD drive. You'll need to wait for someone to tell you or do a search for mount + ISO + hard disk. I've been with Linux to long or I'd have the name for you. It's a set of utilities that's free for the dl'ing. Begins with a J if I remember correctly.

Nero should work, and the OP mentioned it, so I would assume he has it.

You might also be able to use a batch file to mount the image in either daemon tools/alcohol, and then automatically run the game, although if the game requires swapping discs in the middle of the program, that could be a little bit harder.
