Can I connect a cable modem to WinXP Home?

I don't know the diff between WinXP Pro and the Home version. If I use a cable modem I can connect via USB or ethernet. Does the Home version of WXP provice ethernet cards w/ configuration?

Yes

If you use USB, then you need XP drivers for the modem from your cable company. (Home or Pro, doesn't matter) If you use an Ethernet card, most all cards out there have XP drivers available.
