Can i collect unemployment?

Ive been working at IBM for the past year as an intern and just lost my job due to me graduating. Am i eligible to collect unemployment? Thanks

Unemployment doesn't cover temporary employees, does it?

An internship is understood that it will end at a certain point...

Since it was a special intern program, and you have passed beyond that part of your life, I'd guess that you could not collect unempoyment.

If they were very happy with your work though, why not ask about full-time employment with them, if that's what you desire.
