Can I clean my camera lens with a tissue?

The biggest problem with tissues (aside from the sort that contain oils) is that they leave all kinds of lint. Get a lens cleaning cloth.

3M and other companies make those lint-free tissue. they are intended for computer monitors though, but I think they should be okay for camera lens too.

Just get a lens cleaning kit, they're like 4$. It'll have some lint free tissues.

The main issue besides lint with napkins and tissue, is that IF it has some contamination, you could end up scratching the lens..

Same thing with the lint free ones, but you're supposed to keep them in their package until use ;)
