Can I check my Verizon Voice Mail from a different phone?

I can't find my Verizon cellphone right now (it's somewhere in the house...) but I desperately need to check my messages. Can I do so from another phone? If so, what number do I have to call?

Hmmm...with my at&t phone I just call my cell number and when the voicemail starts up I press the # button and it asks me for my pin to get into the voice mail system. You could give that a try.

Yup. This works with Verizon.
