Can I check my DDR RAM for damage?

I recently was asked by a friend if I would let him use my DDR RAM to check his system, I said OK and we took out the RAM. We had no static bag so he though it would be a good idea to use a ziploc baggie. Halfway to his dorm I thought "what makes the plastic stick together so bad? STATIC!" I continued to transport it and check his system, we uninstalled the RAM again and transported it on a piece of paper back to my dorm. After loading it a day goes by of stable performance but today I expierenced a few shut downs for apparently no reason. Could I have killed my ram in the process of moving it or damaged it? Is there a program I could download to check its integrity? Thanks For your Help--😱

There is a simple way to check it: Have your BIOS set to not boot up quickly, or turn off Quick boot mode, and see that when you reboot it will do a memory check. ESD is infamous for making intermitten failures.
