Can I change the two EZ Backup SATA ports on my P5Q Pro to normal SATA?

I will not be using the EX Backup feature, but I definitely could use those two ports. Can I flash the mobo with a custom BIOS, or something?

The EZ Drive Expect has a "normal" mode which allows you to do just that. Manual says you must use the orange port first and it does not support ATAPI or Hot Swap.
