can i change temp folder for 7zip?

i have my OS on my C drive and 7zip is installed on that same partition

the files im unzipping are on my storage drive and sometimes there very large.

after it finishes unzipping it has to move the file from a temp folder on my C drive to my storage drive

I know theres an option that you can change in the plugins tab to change the working folder but i tried it and it doesnt do anything.

any ideas?

First thing I found in Google was an Anandtech thread.

The last post seems roughly right:

Under options, on the plugins tab, click the Options... button, then the folders tab, and change the working folder.

Edit: You tried that. Did you try unchecking the removable drives only checkbox?
