I ordered the HP LAPPY it hasnt been delivered can i cancel ibought with AMEX

There's a 1-800 number on the receipt - as long as you call it and it hasn't been delivered to a courier you can have it canceled. OR, you can come into the store and we can call the Help Desk and have it canceled that way.

I called them guys and they told me they were goign to charge me a 15% restocking fee. Holy Moly.

i don't think they should charge 15% because it was never opened.

...and it was never delivered. I don't see how they charge restocking fee on something that havn't left the stock either. I would suggest talking to a CS Manager instead of the phone rep, also threaten to dispute charges with Amex, that should get they're attention.

You will be charged a 15% restocking fee, since it is a custom configured computer....basically like any custom ordered furniture or chairs...it can not be resold to another party. Therefore Staples takes a loss for it. This is then charged to the customer as a restocking fee.
