can I burn a .img file using Nero instead of Clonecd?

I don't wanna download clonecd just for one file.

Yes you can, done it many times.

that's what I was thinking about. I was gonna convert it from an .img file to an .iso file, but I read in a couple of different places that you can loose data. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
