Can I Automate audio for a decent price ?

.... I'm building a low power FM station and am searching for a good and STABLE audio automation system to play 10 hours of pre-recorded programming per day.

Aside from the commercial radio sellers with too much hype and their prices in the stratosphere, does anyone have any suggestions for stable basic automation software that has a low price ?
😕

Yep, or AAC, or lossless FLAC if you have a few terabytes of space (FLAC takes about 300 MB per CD).

Load up a box with Win2K and a simple player like Foobar2000, start it playing and you're done.

Or use PC Anywhere (or XP + remote desktop) and you don't even have to show up to start the music.

Hi

Considering he is setting up a LOW power FM station AND knowing approximately how accurate an FM broadcast is, I think it would be perfectly acceptable to play a 128kb MP3, no need for lossless compression formats and space hungry audio media.. their listeners wouldn't know the difference.
