Was posting gmail invites against the rules in d.c.?

There's a stickied thread in Hot Deals as well. Maybe they think that 2 is enough. You can always put conditions on the invites. Many members do. Like "must have been a member for a year" or "must answer this question correctly" or, for your purpose, "must be an active participant in DC".Originally posted by: Confused
My guess is that there is an "Official GMail thread" in Off Topic. Of course, a post/edit in the thread SAYING SO might help, rather than just locking it outright, but most DC members don't browse OT (and I don't blame them personally), and want some DC members to get some invites, rather than the hounds in OT.
