Can i add fans to my case?

I only have one case fan in there but i would like to add more. problem is my motherboard only has one of the 3 pin connectors to plug the fans into. Is there any way too add fans in there or am i screwed?

yeah...its easy...i have 3 right now, but i have room for 3 more...i am worried that if i put that many in there it might just take off or somethin

I don't know why i laughed at that...but i did.

I think i've asked on here before..maybe. Where can I buy cheap fans? I need one in my comp!

Not quite the right forum for this question, but oh well.
I know some fans have both connectors, I'd recommend finding those ones, that way if you upgrade your mobo in the future you can use these fans by plugging them into the mobo.
Another option is to just splice, it's very easy, just make sure you do it right.

now im even more confused. The molex is on my power supply?

for cheap fans try frozencpu.com
It is the same connection you use to plug in hard drives, cdroms, dvdroms, etc.

The same 4-pin connectors that plug in to your hard drive and cdrom. You're bound to have an extra one.

That is for p4 and some amd dual mobos. The fans will have a connector which gets plugged into the PSU and then one that goes to the hard drive, cdrom, etc.

The 4-pin connectors that go from your PSU to the various components in your system are made by a company called Molex.

It is not difficult to find fans that have connectors designed to mate with them. Just choose/look for the 4-pin option.

Do a Google on case fans.

(and in rudeguy5757s' case... also do a google on landing gear 😀

No. You could put as many as the power supply would handle with the other computer components. The fans have a pass through molex connector where they accept power on one end and distribute power on the other.

You can add more than one. Most 4-pin fans have a passthrough connector for connecting to another fan/drive. You're more limited by the amount of fan mounts in your case.

True, but I think that's a bit beyond HappyDude's experience currently.
