Can I add a partition to a RAID 0 array?

While we're on the subject of RAID arrays can I partition an array with Partition Magic? I want to slice this baby up into usefull parts.

I see no reason why you cant, as it should see the partition as one drive just as the operating system does. They make a Pro version and also utilities for server disk management, so as we know servers all use Raid and that would make sense that it supports raid. IMHo

Yes, you absolutely can add/modify a partition with Partition Magic on a system with a RAID 0/1/0+1 array. I have done it. I use Partition Magic from scratch.

That's great thanks. Just got this thing stabile and don't have time to setup from scratch. The latest BIOS & 4in1 plus card placement is adding up. SBLive Platinum seems happy (knock on wood) 😉
