Can I add a 2nd DIMM while O'Cing on a P4B533-V?

Yep, still running the old faithful 1.6 Northy on my P4B533-V at 150FSB with 1 512MB DIMM of Corsair PC3200 CAS 2. I know it is time for an upgrade but hey, I have to buy a new house first ;)

That being said, can I get away with adding a 2nd 512MB DIMM and keep the O'C? I wouldn't necessarily be averse to just buying a 2.4B instead if I can't keep the O'C (assuming a 2.4C won't run on this board). Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Well, assuming you haven't gone back to the football game (the Cowboys got slaughtered, by the way), adding memory has never stopped an overclock that I know of. As a matter of fact, you might want to buy some faster ram, so you can use it in a system that you haven't built yet. The older, slower PC2100 is actually more expensive now than PC4200. Memory underclocks great.. Matter of fact, most of the slower PC3200 (2.5-3-3-6) will run much tighter timings (2-2-2-5), at PC2100 speeds.

Okay, now you can go back to the football game!

Thx for the info... oh, and my Skins actually won hehe. I just remember back in the day setting this thing up that many had commented that trying to OC with 2 DIMMs would be problematic at best. I'll give it a shot.
