Ok here's whats going on. A friend of mine's sister-in-law's computer has died on her, and I'm trying to put together a new one. Now, her HD is still alive and well and I've put it in my PC to see if there's anything of value and as it turns out, her ISP is some no nameer that has to be setup in DUN manually and I need to find out the information to setup a connection for Dial-Up Networking on the new PC. Now, I would rather not boot the install except as a last resort, so if I remember correctly, the Dial Up Networking connection information on 95/98 (this is a 95 OSR2 install) is stored in the registry (system.dat and user.dat) and I am wondering if there is a program that I could use to open these 2 registry files to get the DUN info so I can setup the connection on the new computer. Anybody know of such a program?" Also anybody know the registry key where I would find the DUN Connection info? Thanks for any help you can provide.
