Can I 900 tbird@133x7 on ECS K7S5A?

This chip is already unlocked. I have it running on my A7V at 1070 right now. My A7V is the 100 mhz FSB vareity (kt133) and i've always wanted to run this chip at 133fsb. I would also like to enter the world of DDR too, so that my next upgrade can be a CPU.
I don't think that there are multiplier adjustments on the K7S5A though, or am I wrong?
Thanks.

you hsould be able to lower the mult, even on the K7S5A, IIRC. I don't feel like rebooting my room-mates computer to look though, and I dont have that mobo 😉

Is anybody sure about that? 🙂
I kind of have itchy pockets right now and I will spend the money.. oh that, and a new monitor, or possibly just the new monitor (900NF) 🙂

With the ECS k7S5a you Can not adjust multipliers or cpu voltage.

if you must the only way is to cut & join the bridges on the cpu itself to adjust voltage & multipliers.

Okat, that sucks and it's as I thought... maybe the K7S6A will have multiplier adjustment though. I have to say that I kind of like the idea of a flakey ESC board to call my own, I feel up to the challenge 🙂

I used to have a TB900 on my K7S5A and no way will it run at 133 FSB. The most I was able to run this cpu was on a Abit KT7E at 1095 with 7.5 X 146FSB. But on the ECS with no multiplier settings and very few FSB choices I can only run it at default 9.0X and 112FSB. It will not even boot at 124 which is the next FSB available. If you like OC'ing ECS is not the mobo for you. Maybe bette off with the AK31.
