can GTX 680 Zotac AMP Edition handle BF3 on FULL HD With constant 60fps ?
i mean it will not drop below 60 ^^

http://www.amazon.com/Zotac-GeForce-...=gtx+680+zotac

some standard 670 and 680 have dips below 60 .. like 45-47 fps ... but that card is stock overclocked. ..

so can 680 amp edition do this ? or for getting 60 minimum fps you have to go for sli setups ? :(

No. I overclock my card beyond that and it won't happen. Gotta have SLI for min 60s at 1920x1080.

Yep, especially online. Just too much going on, needs a hefty GPU and CPU if you are running stuff to the max. Now if you are willing to turn things down, like turn graphics settings down, AA off etc. Maybe you'll get close.

No, but it will be close. I'm running SLI Lightning's and about the lowest I saw while I was running just one was ~55fps. Not saying there wouldn't be a situation that would drop it below that but that was the lowest I noticed.

wait wait ... you run on gtx 670 in sli and still got 55 fps minimum sometimes ? WTF !??? ;/ .... that means for 100% sure that is games bad .... you should get at least 80 fps minimum ;/

No, re-read it. When I was running one 680 Lightning I would see framerates as low as about 55.

and did you palyeod on huge maps ? for example on close quarters you will get 15-20 fps you know then on gulf of oman with 64 palyers :D

where did you pull that from? The GTX 680 lightning is one of the fastest stock cards out there and YBS1 even overclocked it beyond that.

We're also not analyzing the CPU factor here and forgetting that in MP, BF3 benefits from an overclocked CPU some.

Need to have at least 2x gtx670 cards at stock to pull off 60fps constant, its why i went sli.

A gtx670 in my testing can hold 60fps if you enable either all high with 2x msaa or ultra settings with no msaa of any kind...that is at 1080p on Caspian Border.

Who knows when the GTX 7xx series will arrive. Honestly it's not worth looking at what will come in the future. It's a given that it will be faster than today's current technology. If everyone thought "in 6 months it will be better and maybe cheaper" nobody would buy any technology.

I play BF3 with at 1920*1080 with all settings maxed except no MSAA and no motion blur. My DC II 680 at 1280/6800 averages about 90-95 fps, with minimums in the low 50's (which are almost always when something blows up right in front of me, like a vehicle I was repairing). That's with a 2600K at 4.5 GHz.

with 2600k even at stock clocks you will gat same fps :D no cpu bottleneck ^^
