I read it in a book. Its kind of a conundrum. God can create anything, so can't he create a stone that it is too heavy for even Him? Well if He does then He is limited by his own creation, which would go against Him being omnipotent. So can He not create a stone too heavy for Him? Then He would be limited again.

It makes my head hurt.

If God could make big stones his kid wouldn't have been such a puss.

What happens if TheSiege uses a time machine to go back in time and impregnate his own mother.

Would he be his own father?

Not really. Why worry about something really stupid that has no effect whatsoever on anything?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.

Is God able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.

Is God both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?

Is God neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

Then he would have funky brain waves and be immune to stupefying rays of the brain race. SPLU'H!

Sing me a song, you're a singer
Do me a wrong, you're a bringer of evil
The Devil is never a maker
The less that you give, you're a taker
So it's on and on and on, it's Heaven and Hell, oh well
The lover of life's not a sinner
The ending is just a beginner
The closer you get to the meaning
the sooner you'll know that you're dreaming
So it's on and on and on, oh it's on and on and on
It goes on and on and on, Heaven and Hell
I can tell, fool, fool!
Well if it seems to be real, it's illusion
For every moment of truth, there's confusion in life
Love can be seen as the answer, but nobody bleeds for the dancer
And it's on and on, on and on and on....
They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of Kings and Queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
It's Heaven and Hell, oh well
And they'll tell you black is really white
The moon is just the sun at night
And when you walk in golden halls
You get to keep the gold that falls
It's Heaven and Hell, oh no!
Fool, fool!
You've got to bleed for the dancer!
Fool, fool!
Look for the answer!
Fool, fool, fool!

God created a stone so disgusting, he kicked it out of heaven and we call it Earth.

too easy.

1. god can create a stone that is too heavy for god to lift.

2. god can lift a stone that is too heavy for god to lift.

there, problem solved. faith restored, religious crisis averted.

God can create a stone that is so large that weight, and therefore lifting become irrelevant. A better question is can god create a stone so large that he cannot move it at all, but then we run into the problems of movement within the universe. If he can't move the rock then can he move the universe around it in such a way the the end effect is the same? Might this have been the way he had always moved things anyway, and therefore nothing within the universe can be immovable because our conception of movement itself is utterly wrong?
