I dunno what to do :0. I don't remember when this problem started, but when I play a dvd (wmp, windvd, powerdvd) the display becomes just all different colors, sort of like a pollock.

I also noticed that my "digital audio" no longer works...when I played cd's in winamp, I used to use the digital audio cd to change volume and the normal wave volume changer did nothing, not so anymore.

I have a pioneer 16x slot loading dvd, fairly new radeon 9600 pro, 1901fp, sb live 5.1 w/kt133 :0, the audio is connected through the digital port and i have to check digital output in creative lab settings otherwise I don't get any sound. Ihave the 3.8 catalyst drivers, should be new enough. I also tested dvds on friends computer and they work fine.

Any recommendations on what to try :\

I couldn't find any different firmware for the dvd drive, I uninstalled it...I'm not sure what else to do.
