I recently posted asking about a way to automatically throttle back internet bandwidth usage for a particular computer when other computers on the lan need bandwidth. I then searched the forums and found that that's one of the most asked questions on here. in any case, I decided that I will set up a linux box to do my routing so that I have more features and control than a hardware router and significantly better performance than the win2kserver based one I used to use.
I decided that freesco would be a good distro to use for routing, but it seems that it doesn't have a built-in way to do the auto- bandwidth throttling I was talking about.
is there a way to add this functionality to freesco?
-or-
is there another linux router distro that has that functionality, is just as easy to use as freesco, and will have good performance on a P-90?
