CAN FAN Question

I have Three 80mm Antech Fans. Is it bad to have them hooked up to the mobo three pin connectors? I have the atx power connection to the morbo and the 4 pin p4 thing too.

I good 450watt PSU. I just dont want to dammage the morbo.

The Antec 80mm case fans don't draw a whole lot of amperage, and three of them shouldn't pose any trouble for the mobo. Mega-output fans with high amperage draw would be another story.

I've had up to 5 connected to my mobo, plus a 5600rpm NB fan, PLUS a cpu fan. Didn't hurt anything... except my ears.

Now I"m down to 2 80mm Antecs and 1 zalman 7000Cu. Mobos have those headers for a reason... I was using 2 splitters to give myself the extra 2 fans I Needed.

The splitters are only 3 bucks at compusa.
