Can external USB drive (which has SSD controller - Corsair Flash Voyager® GTX ) made bootable?

I am planning to buy this - touted as the fastest USB since it has SSD controller. Got to know that Windows recognize it as fixed drive (not removable) and it can be partitioned as well. We can even install OS into it (WTG)

But my query is can I make this bootable ? Since windows does not recognize it as a removable drive.

Will be using RUFUS. So can I?

It doesn't matter in the least if it shows up as removable or not,as long as you can create a (primary and active) partition on it it will be bootable.
At least in theory,in practice it depends if your bios and the ssd controller will communicate correctly but since you say that it can be partitioned and an os installed on it it should have no problems,not much sense installing os if you can't boot into it.

What I am actually asking is Can I make it bootable for installing Windows OS (onto some other SSD/HDD) ?

Will rufus detect it? (Since its only for USB Drives)
 
If rufus won't detect it then use another tool like YUMI which will use any drive (so make sure you select the right one)
