Same with ISA Server2K and IIS. Or whatever other shares clients may need access to on the DC. Do you need to login to the DC with an admin account or can you let Exchange/ISA/IIS to run as services? Never tried.

I guess running under an admin account and locking the system would do the same thing. Just curious.

Hehe. Everybody learns these things at some point. :)

Check the Services MMC applet in your Windows 2000 Server. "Microsoft ISA Server" (I think) is tied with "Microsoft Firewall", "Scheduled and Content downloads" (or something like that) and "Microsoft Web Proxy". These are the services for the ISA server. You can change around some settings to get it to automatically start at bootup, etc.

IIS would be "Microsoft Web Server" (or something like that), "Microsoft FTP", and SMTP/NNTP, and whatever else you installed. They are all pretty obvious ones.

I don't remember Exchange. It's been a long time since I dealt with it.
