Can ECC ram pair up with non-ECC ram on the Abit TH7-II?? (RDRAM)

I got the abit th7-2 and got only 1 rdram (duh!) and its the non-ecc type. Is it possible to use the ECC wiht non-ECC rdram with the abit? And another question if anybody can help out. I bought the Samsung (model # mr16r082gbn-ck8) rdram with life time warranty and wondering who does the warranty if it goes bad? And isn't the life time warranty samsung rdram model # should have an L after the last 8 for distinction of life time warranty? Please help!!
