Can I do this with my copy of Office? I can't see any scratches, but I get the 1305 error, and it is on a piece of clip art. Who cares??? I wish it would skip that file and just get on with the install.

Have you tried using a normal program to copy the disc? Sometimes it will work that way.

EAC will do the best job, it will keep trying to read the data over and over till it gets it right.... even if it takes a long time, if it is readable EAC will get it.

Last I checked EAC only works with audio cds. I think you should try Nero or Alcohol 120%.
