Can E7200 run Linux 64 bit in Windows 64 bit?

So I have an E7200 and I'd like to know whether or not my E7200 can run Linux 64 bit if I use Vista or Windows 7 64 bit. I know E7200 lacks VT so it's impossible for it to run Linux 64 bit on Windows XP Pro 32 bit. But what if both the host and guest OS are 64 bit? Would that work?

This would be done using VMware player to run the Notfred folding client.
