Can DSL Modem be moved?

currently have DSL modem downstairs in office. any problems in just moving it to a phone outlet upstairs (same phone number line)?

nope, no problems. just make sure you don't attach a line filter. 🙂

If you put a line filter before the modem, you filter out the DSL signal.

Depends on the filter. Some of them have a spliter in them that has a port for the DSL modem and another for a voice line.
