Whenever I'm at the piano, my dog runs in and lays down under the bench (or somewhere near it) and either quietly nibbles on a soft toy or just curls up and lays there. I always just thought it was because I spend so many hours a day there, and she likes to be where the people are. But the thought occured to me today that I also spend a lot of time on the computer (far too much, actually, see post count), and she almost never comes by when I'm typing emails, heh. My mom thinks that the dog actually enjoys the music, but that would really surprise me, especially given that practice often consists of running the same short sections over and over again, which bores humans, let alone dogs.
