CAN DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) run at lower speeds?

I'm building a system that can run at 1066 FSB speeds. I would like to get DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) now, but would like to get a slower processor that runs natively at 533 FSB and upgrade later to a faster processor that runs at 1066 FSB speeds.

Does any one know if DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) has any problems running at slower speeds?

Thanks

I believe it should run just fine.

Just a heads up though: The DDR2 motherboards are being VERY picky about their ram. Be sure to check the compatibility list for the mobo you are using.
