Can DDR Ram be used on all motherboards made for PentiumIII's

I am just trying to find out if I can use DDR SDRAM PC2100 on a Pentium 3 based system. Does the motherboard for Pentium 3's recognise DDR SDRAM or do only some newer motherboards allow you to use it.

Any info about this would be greatly appreciated. I have tried searching the web for this sort of info, but there is no readibly available info.

Some later P3 boards used DDR but most P3 boards used PC100 or PC133 SDRAM (non DDR, different socket).

Go to Crucial.com and use their database to enter your motherboard model number and it'll tell you what RAM it takes.
