Hi, I'm running on a Viewsonic VX2025WM with 8800GTS and 158.19 drivers in XP. In some games I prefer to run at 1400x1050 (4:3). On my previous X1900XT, I could get centered timings so that I could run games, desktop, etc. at 1400x1050 without the monitor stretching the image. However, when I input that custom resolution into nvidia's control panel, it won't scale. None of the settings seem to work (i.e. I just get a stretched image) I've tried other custom resolutions (1360x1024, 1440x900, etc) and I get the same results.
Do I need to change the timings for it to work? Or do the drivers simply don't support scaling with the 8800GTS cards?
