Yes, the log every DNS request by their IP's along with date and time and to whom the IP was leased to.

Yes, they can. Do they monitor exactly what you download? No, not unless they have a reason to (copyright infringment, etc)

They simply do not have the ability to look at what everyone downloads, although like the others said, they could if they wanted.

They could also probably make some computer program that could 'catch' people downloading 'bad' stuff, but people would drop the ISP that did that like a bad habit in no time.

yeap.

they can tell what you download but they don't really care unless someone ask them for the information. Then if they have that you are screwed anyway.
