Ok i got a 2500 barton
stuck it in and tried overclocking
i put it at 10x200 and voltage 1.75 (default was 1.65)
I reboot, it comes on for 3 seconds and then dies and then doesnt come back. i reset the bios..nada..it looks like the chips dead
stick my old 2400 in , sweet..so nothings wrong with the board..its defo the cpu
now i have seen on the forum that peeps have takem 2500's to 200x10 easily at 1.75 and had no probs, so can anyone tell me why mine died?
i have a Coolermaster CPU Cooler(CP5-8JDIF-0L) which is 2500 rpm and good up to a 3200 so its nota lame-o cooler
