Can CCC & MS .NET be removed?

In cleaning out bloatware (not that much surprisingly) I found (I believe) CCC along with .NET. 2 entries in Add/Remove Programs for ATI - Control Center (or something like that) & the video drivers. I've no experience with ATI, so this is new to me.

Reading in these forums many people do not like CCC. So my question is can it be removed along with .NET? Any advantages/disadvantages of removing or keeping?

Also, anyone here know where to find updated ATI mobility drivers? The usual places I visit seem to only have Nvidia ones.
 
Yeah, the .Net and the CCC are separate from the base driver, so you can safely remove it if you dont like CCC. I've done it before, and it worked fine.
