I found a month-old bag of beef jerky in my cubicle today. It's not in a resealable bag.

Is it still good to eat?

my health is in your hands...

if it was open, it will just be dry, not "bad"

i have bought some that was semi-rancid , if you get some with some fat , the fat can get rancid

I think it's good...isn't that how they dry it out anyways...just letting it all hang out in the sun...?

Beef Jerky is preserved by spices, it's not even cooked. Same method the used back in the pilgrim days. So you could eat it in 10 years and it will be fine.
