Not sure why it would not, but if you have access to a 2nd machine to try them.
Just to rule out any issues with the drives them selves.

Double check Device Manager and Disk Manager to see if they show up there as well, if it shows up as RAW do NOT format it.

Unless you don't care about the data, then you could format them.

I finally had time to investigate more and i made a huge woopsy.
I mixed up my backup disks in size and partitioning.
