Can bad keyboard cause notebook to go crazy?

Yo, i managed to change motherboard on my broken notebook but looks like the motherboard isnt the issue with it. I have 2 keyboards: one old on which coffe was poured and one used but functioning bought from second hand. When I connect first keyboard the notebook acts totally normal but some keys arent working like F2 which is needed to get to bios and enter - which is needed to confirm boot os option. When i change it fom 2nd keyboard the notebook boots immediately to bios and i cant make it boot to windows normally. When i start hitting F12, the boot roster like crazy from start it finally manages to get me to the boot list and i can choose to boot windows 7, but as it boots the system, notebook will restart. My question is: can bad keyboard make notebook act like crazy or just make buttons malfunction and if not what can be problem with it? CPU, memory? i did memtest and it shown me that integrity is 100% of these parts and i already changed the motherboard and it does the same. hot chocoa was poured on notebook some years ago.

Yeah, sure, a bad keyboard can absolutely cause "phantom input" issues.

See if the laptop works ok with the keybaord disconnected and an external keyboard plugged in.
