I need to know the name of this plant we have.

My best educated guess is, drum roll please!
Dracaena Reflexa - Variegated

That's a very close match!

The "Clifford Moor" posted above looks similiar, but has flowers and no big wooden stem. The Dracaena Reflexa looks very close however.

What does "Variegated" mean?

Variegated means the leaves are mixed color usually (light green/whitish outside with darker green in the center)

edit: yep. I agree, looks more like the Dracaena

variegated 'Clifford Moor' (Silene dioica 'Clifford Moor')

After taking a closer look, it might just be a Silene dioica! I can see some purple flower buds hidden away ready to grow.

I basically need to know what it is so I know it's not toxic for my parrots to munch on :cookie:
