Can AutoUpdater drain the battery ? LG G2

LG G2 battery was draining within a few hours.
I turned off AutoUpdater, and I think it's normal now.
Is this a thing?
I will monitor for the rest of today.

I turned off Auto Updater and problem is solved!

Settings -> Accounts -> Auto-sync data UNCHECKED
