Can ATI discrete and integrated graphics be used together?

I'm thinking about buying a Radeon HD 5450 to get a cheap DVI output on my desktop. Can I simultaneously use the DVI on my integrated Radeon HD 3200 with the DVI on the discrete graphics card?
 
I am using it on my PC. ATI 3200 integrated with a 4830 discreet card. In the bios I set the PCIe card to be booted first so the 4830 shows the POST, etc. Assuming you motherboard supports it you should have no problems.
